Waterfall Hike
Waterfalls - all over the place !
Hiking boots with non-skid soles, T-shirts, swimming shorts, waterproof bags for cameras, sun-screen, and drinking water are all advisable. Advance notice is necessary to arrange for a local guide.
Pohnpei is one of the wettest places on earth, and has waterfalls over the whole island.

Deep within the lush rainforest you'll find some of the most unspoiled waterfalls in the entire world.
The trailhead is in Salapwuk, a small village near the center of the island, about one hour by car.
The trek to the falls is commonly referred to as the “six waterfall hike.”
The trail is rugged and makes for a grueling hike. It involves crossing streams with moss-covered rocks, hiking up and down steep hills, and some swimming that's needed to reach Lipwen Tiak, the last waterfall in the series.
Be prepared to sweat a lot. The extra effort is worth it when you see the beauty of the untouched falls.
