The diving could be some of the best you've ever done
Look at the October 2006 newsletter and see what undercurrent said about the Village - and the diving in Pohnpei.

On the reefs are schools of tropical fish, sharks, barracudas, and of course - the mantas.

The manta rays are seen everyday at their cleaning stations. They can get up to 12-15 feet across, and usually not afraid of divers. Although they may hover a few feet away to “inspect” these strange bubble-making creatures, they don’t like touching.

You probably won’t be believed until you show pictures of the reefs, and those of the night dives and the blooming corals. Even when you show them you may not be believed.
It was awesome. Diving the outer reef turned out to be as thrilling as diving in Palau. Fabiano & Katja

I visited on a diving expedition and thought it was the most wonderful time of my life. I truly don’t think there’s another dive site that even comes close to Pohnpei. Sandy Weaver

Jamie puts the dive trips together which leave the Village at 9:30. 80 cuft aluminum tanks and weight belts are supplied. Some rental gear is available. Towels and water are in the boat.

The dive guides know all the best sites. Tell them your special interests.

Those who like snorkeling or photography will love the magnificent corals and millions of small fish on the reef.
