The food at the Village is the best. We tried restaurants downtown, but gave up and enjoyed the cuisine at the hotel. Fabiano & Katja
Sashimi of fresh yellow-fin tuna, an immense mangrove crab direct from the grill, and a drinking coconut. Hard to beat !
Pohnpei abounds in banana, papaya, pineapple, and sour sop fruit. The bar makes sour sop sherbet into a very tasty daiquiri.
Beef, chicken and lamb come from the US. The fish is freshly caught on Pohnpei, and most of the greens are locally grown.
Although we make the other kinds too, the tuna omelet is out of this world. You won't be sorry you tried.
The natural friendliness of the waiters and guides is the typical attitude toward a visitor to Pohnpei.
Attention to detail, quality of the food, and the standard of service were second to none. Far superior to the 5 star resort we got married at in Northern Queensland. James Atwell
