Attention to detail, quality of the food, and the standard of service were second to none - far superior to the 5* resort we got married at in Northern Queensland. James Atwell

Singing dogs

Birthdays are a big deal for our dogs. Sassy and Fido sing along with the staff when the cake is carried through the dining room.

Coffee

We’re well known for serving a truly good cup of coffee. Regular and decaf are brewed the right way - with pure and clean Village water.

Table service

Bananas Foster and Rack of Lamb are both served tableside.

Chef prepares the flaming Bananas Foster tableside.

The food at the Village is the best on Pohnpei. We tried two restaurants downtown, but then we gave up and just enjoyed the fine cuisine of the hotel. Fabiano & Katja from Switzerland

Mangrove crab

Local food

The sashimi of fresh yellow-fin tuna, an immense mangrove crab direct from the grill, and a drinking coconut can’t be beat.

Fruit

Pohnpei abounds in local banana, papaya, pineapple, and sour sop fruit. We make sour sop into a very tasty sherbet too.

Meat

Beef, chicken and lamb come from the US. The fish is freshly caught on Pohnpei and most of the greens are locally grown.

Omlets

Although you can get other kinds as well, try the tuna omlet. You won’t be sorry.

Wait staff

The natural friendliness of the waiters and staff is the typical attitude toward anyone visiting Pohnpei.

They all look forward to serving you. We’re pretty proud of the whole team.

If you like good food, you've come to the right place
